Archbishop Antonio Mennini, the Apostolic Nuncio, called for closer co-operation with other faiths as well as Christian denominations to put pressure on the Government over its plans to allow same-sex couples to marry.
In an address to Catholic bishops from England and Wales, he echoed the recent comments of Pope Benedict who said the Church faced “powerful political and cultural currents” in favour of redefining marriage.
So, it seems, THE GAYS are bringing groups together that have been trying to kill each other for centuries. Does that mean we all get a Nobel Peace Prize?

In horrifying news today, the Missouri legislature is trying to add gun owners to the state’s list of protected groups, while, at the same time, there are absolutely no protections from discrimination for people based on sexual orientation.
Unsurprisingly, openly gay representative Mike Colona (who, also unsurprisingly is a Democrat), is pissed:
“I can be fired because of my sexual orientation, my constituents can be fired because of their sexual orientation,” Colona said. “What this body has done is put protecting gun ownership above discriminating against somebody because of their sexual orientation, and I just don’t think that’s right.”
